Thanks for your feedback — we’re really sorry to hear about the incident. Safety is our top priority, and we’re reviewing our procedures and first aid resources to ensure we're always prepared for these types of scenarios. Ngā mihi for your understanding and for your son’s help during the situation.
Kia Ora Louis, Our Mt Tarawera is really a once in a life-time experience and we are glad you got to take in the beautiful scenery and history of our mountain. We hope to see you back here again! Nga Mihi
One of the best experiences I’ve done 100% recommend. Tour guide was very good.
Thank you so much for the amazing feedback! We're thrilled to hear it was one of the best experiences youâve had, and we really appreciate the 100% recommendation. Our guides love what they do, and itâs great to know that came through. A big thank you from all of us at Kaitiaki Adventures
We were fortunate to do the trip on a clear , sunny day in winter which meant that the views were spectacular and the colourful rock layers on the mountain looked stunning against a blue sky. So glad we did this trip. I understand that proceeds from each ticket are used for planting and pest control on the mountain and they seem to be doing a great job in this respect.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're thrilled to hear you had such a clear and sunny day for your tripâthereâs nothing quite like seeing the colourful rock formations set against a winter blue sky. Weâre also really grateful that you noticed our conservation efforts. Every ticket really does help support native planting and pest control on the mountain, so thank you for being a part of that. Nga Mihi Nui from all of us at Kaitiaki Adventures
Beautiful views. Tramped at the pace of the slowest person with plenty of stops to look around. Knowledgeable young guides. The trip in the 4wd van on the way up was an experience in itself. Saw wallabies.
Glad to hear you had such a great experience! It sounds like a perfect mix of stunning scenery, a relaxed pace, and insightful guidance. The 4WD van ride must have added a real sense of adventureâand spotting wallabies is always a bonus! Nga Mihi / Thank you From the Team at Kaitiaki Adventures :)

Mount Tarawera Tour
